Beyond the Basics: Full Day Hands-on Education

Beyond the Basics is a full-day, hands-on beekeeping experience facilitated by Sandra Bornn at Apiverte. Spend real time in the apiary learning how to safely inspect a colony, handle and read frames, recognize brood, honey and pollen, and understand what the bees are telling you.

We’ll combine practical learning, discussion and plenty of time working with live colonies, with lots of opportunities to ask questions along the way.

No previous beekeeping experience is required, although Bee Basics is recommended. All protective beekeeping equipment is provided.
