Cooperative Hosting Program

Terms and Conditions

If you are unable to inspect your bees for a period exceeding two weeks, please notify Apiverte. We will manage your colony during your absence to ensure continuity of care.

Members are required to attend regular inspections as part of their commitment to bee stewardship. If you miss more than two inspections without notifying Apiverte, you may forfeit your membership.

If you choose to cancel your membership, a one-month fee penalty will apply.

Packaging materials are available at cost during harvest season for members who wish to package honey.

All members are expected to follow an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program. Should high pest levels be reported in the apiary, members must treat their colonies accordingly to maintain hive health.

At Apiverte, bee health is prioritized above honey volume. All hive management decisions will be made with this principle in mind.

Members are required to leave all shared facilities and equipment in a clean and orderly state. We ask that you treat the property, other members, and neighbours with respect at all times.

To ensure smooth operation and availability, please schedule inspections and facility use in advance.

Information, insights, and learning are shared to benefit all members. We encourage a collaborative spirit to foster a supportive learning environment.

Apiverte is not liable for personal injuries sustained during program activities. Members are encouraged to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.

Apiverte reserves the right to adjust the program schedule, workshops, or events as needed. Members will be notified of any changes in advance.

Members may receive proprietary insights as part of the program. We ask that these insights remain within the community to preserve the program’s integrity and respect for all members.

Memberships in the Apiverte Cooperative Hosting Program are personal and non-transferable.

Members are welcome to bring guests; however, members assume full responsibility for their guests' conduct and safety. Guest safety gear is available for rent, and all guests must follow Apiverte’s safety guidelines while on the property.

The program is not suitable for children under 8 years old. All children participating or present on-site must be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
